Yes, I have a Valve Index and it works with Roblox VR. The issue is that devs don't accomodate for finger tracking or the rotated controllers, causing issues at times, especially when holding stuff. The issue you're having seems like you need to go into the roblox settings while in a game (through the menu) and scroll down and turn on VR mode.
